Dan Gissinger is a Managing Director in PJ SOLOMON’s Debt Advisory and Restructuring Practice. He joined the firm in 2016.
Mr. Gissinger has over 19 years of distressed debt advisory and buyside experience, specializing in restructuring complex capital structures with a focus on value maximization and generation. Before joining PJ SOLOMON, Mr. Gissinger spent 10 years in the Financial Restructuring Group of Houlihan Lokey, advising public and private companies as well as their creditors and other key stakeholders on debt restructurings and other special situations. He has also served as a Senior Managing Director at Heritage Global, where he was responsible for sourcing engagements and executing transactions for Heritage Equity Partners, the firm’s special opportunities division. Mr. Gissinger began his career at Morgan Stanley as an Analyst in the mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings group, and subsequently spent time at two investment firms. His work has been focused at various levels of the capital structure and has spanned a range of industries, with prominent representations in the real estate, energy, hospitality and retail sectors.
Mr. Gissinger graduated from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
