George R. Ward joined PJ SOLOMON in 2016 as a Partner and Managing Director and serves as Head of the firm’s Energy Advisory Group.
Mr. Ward has over 20 years of energy investment banking experience, advising clients on a variety of assignments including domestic and cross-border/international sell-side, buy-side, divestiture and mergers transactions, restructuring assignments as well as capital markets. He holds significant expertise in the upstream, midstream, and utilities sectors.
Prior to joining PJ SOLOMON, Mr. Ward was a managing director at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Company and co-founded the firm’s New York investment banking office. Before that, Mr. Ward spent three years as Co-Head of the Energy Group at Berenson & Company and was a senior member of the Credit Suisse Energy Group prior to Berenson. Throughout his career Mr. Ward has worked on over $40 billion in energy M&A transactions.
Mr. Ward received an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a concentration in Finance. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
