Patrick Furlong joined PJ SOLOMON in 2008 and is a Director in the firm’s Global Retail Group specializing in apparel, accessories, outdoor, specialty retail and e-commerce. Over the years, he has represented clients on a variety of assignments including buy-side, sell-side, divestiture and merger transactions as well as debt and equity financing and restructuring and recapitalizations.


Mr. Furlong has advised the Special Committee of Perry Ellis International, Inc., Flight Club on its merger with GOAT, Rag & Bone on its sale of a minority interest to Irving Place Capital; Kering (formerly PPR) on its sale of The Sportsman’s Guide and OneStopPlus; Ariat International on its expanded partnership with the Fisher family; United Retail Group in its sale to Versa Capital, Chico’s FAS in its acquisition of Boston Proper, Laura Geller on its sale to Tengram Capital Partners, Kerasotes Theatres in its sale to AMC Entertainment and Cynergy Data in its sale to the ComVest Group. He has also advised RadioShack and Quiksilver on their recapitalizations.


Mr. Furlong is a dual degree graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, receiving his B.S. degree at The Wharton School of Business and his B.A. magna cum laude.
